Here’s are some great ways to watch your YouTube videos even faster:

(I’ve found the YouTube FireFox add-on most useful as I do like to listen to a lot of music on YouTube)

• Download SpeedBit Video Accelerator which makes videos from YouTube and many other video sites faster by reducing buffering problems.
• The URL Hacking: Add a simple &fmt=18# to the end of the normal YouTube video URL would make the hi res video, if it exists, to load On the other hand if you would like youtube videos which are of better quality then remove the # from the end.
• Search faster and Watch fast youtube videos with Youtube Seatch.
• Use an Firefox Addon which is really cool - YouPlayer (If you not using FireFox please excuse me.)
• Change the Youtube Video setting to better suite you.

This one deserves our attention due to the fact that the creator is ‘masked’ to protect his online identity. Just kidding, this DIY is about how to make an NES Game Cartridge, (that’s right, I bet you got one of those in your garage somewhere) into a HarmoNESica.

Basically, it’s a Harmonica, but you can make it look cool. These days, people will making anything out of NES controllers, cables, and now…cartridges.

That’s a NES cartridge and a harmonica. I think you know where this is going. This is going exactly where the intersection of nostalgia and commercialism should have gone like ten freaking years ago. I’ve googled all sorts of combinations like “NES harmonica” and “nintendo harmonica” and “NES cartridge instrument” and I can’t find anything like this. Everybody talks about blowing on the game like a harmonica, but as far as I know I’m the first person on the Internet to actually use a harmonica.

I had a cart I was willing to bust open, I had a harmonica I had purchased specifically to be busted open, and I had a brand-new Dremel to bring the magic. I have been experimenting with many 125×125 pixel banner exchange programs including Spottt, Nuacco, 125exchange, and etc…etc…

What I have found in my study is that these banner exchange programs don’t work and will fail in the long term.

Why?

Because this system has been in place for a long time, it’s not a new technology.

If you don’t believe me, you can even go download a free version of Easy Banner Pro, which Nuacco and 125exchange runs on.

Heck, I could probably start a 125×125 banner exchange tomorrow. Simply download the script then install it on your server, and blog about it.

Spottt, on the other hand, is exact same technology and exact same figures. They just have more money in their pockets to feed some Fortune journalists or maybe they know someone there. Props though for getting such “low technology” onto Fortune, they do have clever people who are good with words obviously.

Entrecard is probably the guy who “changed” that exchange by adding community interaction such as “dropping” cards. This is good and Entrecard will probably live a long life.

Lol…that’s why we made SiteHoppin Beer Widgets, it’s slightly different in that you get “clicks” exchange, not impressions. Plus, you get to earn Beer Credits and get to go play with them. (We should have some gambling games soon so hold on…)

Plus, SiteHoppin is not simply a banner exchange, it allows any internet users, to view the web like an iPod.

Anyways, enough rambling about our SiteHoppin and banner exchange systems that will never work, do you like our new Zedomax Wordpress theme?

Well, I am still working on it, well… “everything” is a work in progress, including this blog itself.

If these Spottt guys want to actually get some real traffic, they better start updating their site more and this is an honest opinion, not simply bashing on someone else’s business. If they take my advice and start doing something about it, they might live I guess…not that I give a ****.

Check out this cool Winamp plugin that allows you to convert Winamp songs to sound-activated lights!

DiscoLitez is a Winamp plugin that allows you to control lighting equipment from your computer. This is done using the printer port and some external switching/driving circuitry. At the moment, you’ll have to build the circuits yourself, but they are not complicated.

His “USBee” Flash Memory Drive won the first prize at the MS Industrial USB Competition held by the Serbian Design Community forum DizajnZona™. Ergonomically designed to bend at life’s will in any direction, this USB flash drive features a vented housing for cooling(I did not realize these needed cooling), and a detachable protective cap that snaps onto the back end of the device when not in use.
