Looks like iPhoneCam is coming soon!

Tight… these guys who are working on the iPhoneCam are gonna be at MacWorld, maybe I should get a Media pass tomorrow?
I figured it out: Now we can stream at up to 30 fps. My proof-of-concept is an iPhone app which streams video over Wi-Fi to a video driver component on the Mac. This way, you can use the iPhone’s camera stream in any Mac video program like iChat, Photo Booth or Skype.

StumbleUpon’s new “secret” extension-less Toolbar is just like SiteHoppin.com

Wow, today I got up to see stats on SiteHoppin.com and found out StumbleUpon is “secretly” working on a new “extension-less” toolbar just like SiteHoppin.com.
It seems like the guys at StumbleUpon might have picked up SiteHoppin’s new ideas. We praise them for doing that since that confirms that we are on the right path. Why didn’t StumbleUpon come up with it earlier? (They came out with this new toolbar 18 days after public beta launch of SiteHoppin.com, which means they probably “copied” our idea. Not that we care, information should be free right?)
On a technical note, the new StumbleUpon “extension” is works just like SiteHoppin’. If you look at the source, it uses the iframes.
On a secondary technical note, the new StumbleUpon toolbar works only with javascript, meaning it might not work with iPhones or new phones that don’t support javascript. (They will probably work on this soon after they see my post.)
Check out the new “secret” extension-less StumbleUpon Toobar. I think it’s still in development but we think this is good for our business since competition always create something better.
Great job GMC! (GMC is the chief architect of StumbleUpon and the creator)
Old style graphic t shirts
Another retro style in design, these appear to be all the rage these days.

It’s a nice reminder to the young folk of what computing used to be like, and the block shapes are actually quite stylish. There is a soccer player and a race car design, and although they are not directly related to any specific game the memories just keep flooding back anyhow.
Priced at $21.24 each.

Who wears a jacket like this?
Well anyone who likes space invaders of course, after all nobody else would, or would they?

This is a design from Scandinavian designer Junk de Luxe and the aliens really have invaded because there are hundreds of them all around the top and working their way down. I wonder who will be the first to be seen wearing one of these?

Bicycle Powered Mobile Phone Center!

Tight, this is way too cool and good for our mother nature.
The one essential thing that a cell phone has that a call shop doesn’t is a battery, so using parts found in a junk yard we created a constantly recharging battery by pedal power. Electricity is generated as the person is traveling to his destination, if the battery runs low at the destination he can drop the kick stand and start cycling in place. Generating electricity from pedaling allows us to travel to the central park, a remote town or a big festival increasing access to inexpensive telephony anywhere.
Data exchange rings
Imagine that all you need is to shake hands with someone to get all of their personal info; well this could be true soon if the concept design gets the thumbs up.

You get a card and ring, the data on the card is transferred onto ring and when you shake hands with another ring holder the data is exchanged.

No need to worry about power either the rings are powered by the heat from your body.

Gamer Tries to Build Nuclear Reactor at Home, FBI Came Around to Play

Cool, this guy’s on TV for tryin’ to build a nuclear reactor. Too bad he didn’t have a SiteHoppin.com shirt on… :p
Apparently bored of his amateur game-building hobby, he decided to try to make a small-scale nuclear reaction in his room, blogging his antics on the web.
Someone blew the whistle on him when he made claims about uranium and doubling the normal background radiation count in his room, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission raided his home. He won’t be getting his Darwin Award or even arrested, though, since the Feds didn’t find anything dangerous.
They did take away his toy though, embarrassingly because his parents asked them to. Defending his experiment in an interview he argued “People do it in universities all the time, it’s just not usual that somebody does it outside of a university”, which is pretty true, after all.
