DIY HACK - HOWTO Make Windows XP Look Like Fedora Linux!

I’ve been always a big fan of Linux, (although I am stuck with Windows XP most of the time because all my apps are on there…but I did use Linux before with 3 VMs running Windows to solve that problem.) here’s a cool way to make your Windows XP “look” like Fedora.
Another simple way? Delete Windows and install Fedora. Lol…
What about you Linux fans? Do you have all things linux at home, but at your day job you are forced into a world of Windows? Would you like to take some of your dignity back? If so, I have something cool for you.
It is the Fedora Transformation Pack for Windows XP. It is a skin that makes Windows look a lot like Fedora Linux. You can impress your friends, and show your ultimate geekyness by making Windows XP look like Linux.
Bulb changing help
This has got to be a winner, imagine balancing on the edge of a chair while you try and change a light bulb, only to find that it is still hot or when you put it in the light switch is on and you get blinded by the light?

Well worry no more for there is help out there with the motorized bulb changer, how good is that? Well it is really good reaching up to 17ft high and even has a remote control for those awkward times when you just can’t get to.

A new BMW for just $328!
Sounds to good to be true, well it is true but its not a car it is a waste bin, designed by the BMW design works Ecopod.

But as you would expect this is no ordinary waste bin, this is a home recycling centre that can be used on a daily basis. What ever you put into it gets shredded and ends up in the bottom as an easily removable package.

For the smallest room
If you are spending more than you should in the smallest room, then you might want to consider this little device called the iCarta, which has room for your iPod or mp3 player and comes with posture protected speakers.

There is of course a place for the paper to go and so everything is sorted, you can sit there under your hearts content or until the battery runs out, whatever comes first.

DIY HACK - HOWTO disable Lexus and Prius navigation lockout!

Cool, here’s my friend Jason from Hackszine posting about how to disable Lexus and Prius navigation systems. I don’t own a Lexus or a Prius, just a gas-guzzlin’ Chevy, but this might come in handy when I do get one.
Here’s a short video showing you how to do it:
Click Here to View in Full Screen Mode
I’ve found that the best way to appreciate the navigation lockout feature is to disable it and see what driving without it is like. The navigation system contains a hidden service menu with a big Override button that lets you do just that.
There’s a secret combination to get to the service menu. The code you use depends on which version of the navigation system you have. They are all roughly the same, so just try them out and find the one that works with your vehicle.
Endless Pool

I’ve seen this Endless Pool before, but I thought it’d be cool to post it. I wish they made a bigger version for surfing…
The pool is designed to generate a counter-current that enables you to adjust your swimming speed from beginner to racer levels. Perfect for relaxation and aquatic-therapies, the Endless Pool kit is small enough to fit inside your home and patio. The pool’s high volume non turbulent bubble-free water flow is wider than your body giving you the maximum benefit for your efforts. It shouldn’t be wrong to call it ‘Treadmill for Swimmers.’ The Endless Pool current is adjustable to any ability and level of fitness from the beginner to the avid competitor.

Edit your PDF files online - PDF Hammer

Cool, you can now officially edit PDF files online! Although I’d never do that. I’d edit the Word file that gets converted into PDFs. Google Docs is probably much better option than this.
Great though, with PDF Hammer, you can move around the pages. (I think that’s the most useful function out of this PDF Hammer thingee…)
Seitz 6×17 Digital camera - 160 MegaPixel Camera!

This has got to be the coolest looking camera with 160 MegaPixels!!! Gosh, that means you need like a 100 GB harddrive to hold like 300 pictures.
seitz has outdone everything in its class with its mind-umbing 160-megapixel 6×17 digital camera. (Sorry, we got that wrong: there’s nothing else in its class!) You got that right—one hundred and sixty MP. Couple that with 48-bit colour depth, and you get images of definitions we can’t speak about. At the maximum resolution, an image is 900 MB, and you can’t use lash to store several such—so the 6×17 uses a Mac Mini as its storage device. You can control the camera remotely using a PDA. Go ahead, prove you’re a real photography enthusiast: sell your house and buy the 6×17…
