Like a smoking jacket

Posted in Clothing, Cool, Entrepreneurs, Funny by david on the January 31st, 2008 at 8:00 am

Well this one is enough to put anyone off smoking for the rest of their lives, but naturally some people wont, be told will they? So they need to be shown exactly what happens.

smoking jacket

The smoker lights up and when it is exhaled into the space provided, the clear lungs fill up and just to show exactly what happens when the smoke gets in there.

The art of climbing

Posted in Art, Business Ideas, Cool, Funny, Games, money by david on the January 31st, 2008 at 7:00 am

It seems that climbing is all of the rage these days, and now it comes in a gallery form.

picture wall

These are those walls that are used to have people climbing up them as an artificial rock face. However someone had the brilliant idea of adding a few picture frames, just to make it look at bit natural.

Moldable mouse

Moldable MouseMoldable Mouse1

Check out this moldable mouse baby!

Moldable Mouse is made of non-toxic lightweight modelling clay, covered with nylon and polyurethane blend fabric. It can be kneaded into any shape the user prefers, and the shape is self-retaining. By allowing a wide variety of hand positions when holding the mouse, it reduces repeated motions of the same posture, thereby minimising the chance of common mouse-related injuries such as the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. The click buttons and touch-sensitive scroll pad of the mouse are stick-on parts with built-in RFID (Radio Frequency Identification Device), which can be repositioned for maximum comfort.

The Mr Burns web cam

Posted in Audio, Cameras, Computer, Consumer, Cool, Funny, Gadgets by david on the January 31st, 2008 at 6:00 am

This is an “excellent” idea that would go down well with both kids and adults alone, but only if they like the Simpson’s.

mrburnswebcam

The webcam will capture video at thirty frames per second with a resolution of 640 by 480 pixels, to make things easier it has a built in mic which is handy for internet calls etc.

Priced at $50

Garmin whops out an actual GPS Phone out of their ass (or arse for our UK readers)!

Posted in Consumer, Cool, Gadgets, cell phones by max on the January 30th, 2008 at 10:19 pm

Garmin Phone

Garmin just released their new phone. They simply whopped out some phone features into their GPS. Looks like an iPhone almost, maybe I will get one if has a good browser like the iPhone.

Today in a surprise announcement in New York City, Garmin whipped out the nuvifone, a full-fledged GSM HSDPA smartphone built on its own operating system with GPS navigation at its core—but e-mail and web browsing close to its heart, and a camera built in too. No pricing or carrier announcement has been made yet, though its likeliest compatible network is AT&T given the technology. (When T-Mobile launches HSDPA, it too will be suitable, and possibly more attractive than AT&T.)

Features include:
• Google local search
• Garmin Online services - traffic, weather, fuel prices, hotel discounts, etc.
• nuvi-like navigation on the road or in pedestrian mode
• Email, text, IM functions
• Camera, video camera, MP3 and MPEG4/AAC

Inflatable Mouse!

inflatable mouse baby! Made in Korea.

The Jelly Click takes mouse portability to the extreme. All the electronic circuity lives on a small flexible board. The body itself is just soft plastic. Whenever you need a mouse, blow up the Jelly Click, attach the USB cable and you’re good to go. As a bonus, it’s a total floaty for you swimming challenged people.

Nightclub LED Lighting System

Cool stuff here.

Have a look at this cool Nightclub LED Lighting System. If I owned a nightclub this system would be one of the first enhancements that would be added. The company has done quite a few 3D models of their designs which provide a great idea of what the end result will look like. I would be interested in knowing what type of RGB LED element they use and how they get the color to fill the globe as evenly as they do.
