Use the force
This is supposed to be a personal force shield, this is clothing that has had conductive filaments woven into it, when you begin walking a static charge builds up.
The power that is generated is enough to charge up a mobile phone while it is just placed in the pocket. But the main use could be that as a personal force shield, the stored electricity can be discharged at any time, so if you are unlucky enough to be attacked the result would be shocking!

This is only a concept, a “wow, what if ?” You refer to a “static charge” which to most people implies the same as shuffling your feet and touching a door knob on a dry day. The T3 article refers to “Micro generators embedded in the seams ” so that your motions move generators and the resulting power is stored.

I wouldn’t wan’t it. I hate to think of getting home from a night out, want to go to sleep, but kept awake by my body glowing! And of course there will be the alternate versions for masochists; and don’t forget the massive factory recalls when it’s discovered that hugging your S.O. and gives them the shock.

My cat zaps me all the time! (Occasionally I get him.. he gets very offended…)
But anyway with the current hot zone for repeated attacks on female joggers well within range of my area, I’d decided the only safe place would be along the main drag, at peak hour. I hadn’t settled on the wording, something along the lines of “Take a mental picture… I might last longer”. Or words to that type of effect - across my butt.
(My reasoning being if people noted the time, when I went missing, it would all come together like a flick book. Even if I was toast, they’d get that jerk for sure. Better the girl in the shorts than the 10 girls nobody would ever have known about.)
But I like this!! The zapping idea is undeniably a MUCH MUCH better one!!
…Hmm it’s a capacitor yeah? So it would be like a Taser-suit??
I think that would be illegal here anyway.
And what about sweat?
And… how is someone going to get it off me if it suddenly starts to electrocute Me?
