But anyway with the current hot zone for repeated attacks on female joggers well within range of my area, I'd decided the only safe place would be along the main drag, at peak hour. I hadn't settled on the wording, something along the lines of "Take a mental picture... I might last longer". Or words to that type of effect - across my butt.

(My reasoning being if people noted the time, when I went missing, it would all come together like a flick book. Even if I was toast, they'd get that jerk for sure. Better the girl in the shorts than the 10 girls nobody would ever have known about.)
