Batteries become next WMD

As from tomorrow there is no point trying to get on a plane when in possession of lithium battery in a plastic casing.

If the batteries are new as if they are in the original packaging then they can be taken, but other than that, no lithium batteries will be allowed on a plane.

At this rate, no one will be getting on airplanes with carry on luggage. What a shame that fear has replaced convenience for all concerned!
