The Google phone

The Google phone or is it gphone is due to hit the streets by June 2008, and it would appear that the phone and everything about it is going to very different to what we would have expected from other phone providers.

For once the software or part of it is going to be open source, this will enable outside developers to work on their solutions for the phone, which is great and will offer more opportunities for users to find different applications for the phone.

This service will revolutionize communications. Google’s announcement must already be giving the jitters to MS and the mobile phone industry!
