The Bumper Dumper

Posted in Consumer, Cool, Funny, Gadgets, Motor by david on the October 22nd, 2007 at 6:00 am

There is nothing worse than being caught short while also being stuck out in the middle of nowhere. The only solution was to find a bush and hope that nobody sees you, which was until now.

This is the aptly named Bumper Dumper, and it is what it says it is. Mind you next time you see somebody sitting on the back bumper of the 4×4 you know what they are doing!

car wc

Features:

The Bumper Dumper Includes frame for2×2 hitch receiver and toilet seat
You can use a bag or a bucket - You now have the option to attach a sealable bucket underneath the toilet seat.
Most buckets with the circumference of a 5 gallon bucket easily slide into the attachment grooves underneath the frame.

The company states that the device will take up to 500 lbs but what it does not say is 500 lbs of what?

Priced at $68.95

Contest - Win $500 worth of wiki pages at OneBuckWiki.com

Posted in Blog, Consumer, Contest, Cool, Web, Wordpress by max on the October 21st, 2007 at 2:06 am

We are having a contest for our newest site, OneBuckWiki.com. Basically, you have to submit more URLs than anyone else to Zedomax.Biz, which is a social network about making money online. Looks like John Chow is in the lead…again at 81! I’ve seen him sneaking on this new site to see if there’s any new users but the thing we realize with social networks is that it grows slow. But we’ve had some success one of our older niche social networking site, Wagg.It. Wagg It is basically like Digg except there wway less traffic and way less users in comparison. BUT it gives you free PR4 links when you submit something, which is a killer free deal for SEO marketers out there.

Also check out our shopping social network, MaKePoNo.com, which means “cheap” in Hawaiian, does have nothing to do with making porn….duh! read the letters carefull!

So, if you want to get hooked up with $500 worth of wiki pages you can sell down the road on e-bay for $1000, submit your money making blog posts here.

Be careful where you sit

Posted in Consumer, Design, Educational, Funny by david on the October 20th, 2007 at 12:00 pm

You can never be too sure of the furniture that you may find lying around, and this design by Alexander Reh, is of no exception at all.

Be careful where you sit

If you ever wondered what people did with all of those spent shot gun cartridges well here is just one idea, one single chair uses over 450 cartridges, and it is mentioned that the brass tipped shells have a massaging effect, rather than being uncomfortable.

Be careful where you sit

I like to see old weapons and in this case shells used in furniture as it serves two purposes, and gets rid of the weapon and serves as a reminder of what weapons can do and how close they are to everyone.

Feel the force with this vest

Posted in Consumer, Cool, Entertainment, Funny, Games by david on the October 20th, 2007 at 10:00 am

You may think that this is a bit if army surplus equipment or some fashion statement, but no this is neither, in fact this could change the way people play games, it’s that good.

Feel the force with this vest

Now way back when the playstation came out we had the rumble effect in the controls, this was great because it gave the player another effect to enhance the game. This vest is a step along from this, oh yes! Get shot on GTA and you feel it, obviously not as hard as being hit by a 12 gauge, but you feel the force.

The vest has eight zones, so if you get hit in the back then you feel it there etc.

Price at $189 and will be available in November.

Posted in Auto, Consumer, Cool, Funny by david on the October 20th, 2007 at 8:00 am

They keep telling us that us that people are getting larger, and that we are spending more money each on a our food shopping, then it stands to reason that families are going to need a family sized shopping cart.

Family size shopping carts

Seen at a hot rod meeting this shopping cart will allow the family and their shopping to shop and get the food home all in one easy trip, though I would like to see the superstore where this trolley came from!

The ultimate gamers gear

Posted in Computer, Cool, Gadgets, Household, Travel by david on the October 20th, 2007 at 6:00 am

Some people just their obsessions get too far, and maybe this guy is one those because at first you think that he wants to fly and so therefore is taking lessons. Well that may be so; however the flight simulator that you see in the picture is in his home, in Coventry, UK.

The ultimate gamers gear

What’s even more spectacular is the fact that this 747-400 flight simulator has been built by hand and is more or less perfect in every way, including the software that will allow the pilot to take off and land at most of the worlds airports.

DIY HACK - HOWTO build an LED Hat!

LED Hat

Check out this awesome LED Hat you can make for Halloween! There’s some construction notes that you can refer to build one yourself.

I think this was originally because I was planning to go to the [WWW] Burning Man festival, in which being covered with lights is a practical way of keeping track of your friends. But the idea was a bit beyond my expertise for a long time, and it took about two years before I found someone who said they would help me with the electronics side and I decided it was worth the risk of buying the kit to try.

I started work six weeks before [WWW] Glade 2006, i.e. about June. I also optimistically hoped to finish something basic in time, but it took until about February 2007 before I had something which was self-contained and wearable. Obviously not all of this time was spent soldering LEDs, but soldering and testing those and about 400 wires was the biggest job.

Then progress stalled for a while, since I was a bit sick of LEDs at that point, but if I wanted to take it to Glade 2007 I needed to finish it off: some decent patterns and a button to switch between them, which I managed about 4 hours before having to get up again to catch the train there. And it was a success! Despite [WWW] ridiculously heavy rain leading to a [WWW] big [WWW] mud [WWW] bath at the festival, the hat did it’s job without breaking and the most common response was, “Wow, cool hat! Where did you buy it?”
