No more tears
For anyone who suffers from tears when pealing onions then you will know how painful it can be, as well as embarrassing if there are other people around at the time, but what can you? Everyone always says that there is no way of stopping this.

Ah but they did not count on getting a pair of these glasses, did they? Put them on when you are just about to cut up a great big onion, and they should stop the tears. They look as if they have similar eye protection as swimming goggles do.
These can be yours for just $20

Hi All,

We’ve sold over 1000 pages within 2 weeks since its launch! Anyways, you can still get a deal for pages. If you want a free page, let me know at zedomax [at] gmail.com.
We want to hook up our readers with some free pages since we’ve got inifinite inventory.
You can also check out our other creation FiveDollarWiki too.
One of our new sites we built for fun, OneBuckWiki, has sold over 1000 web pages within 2 weeks since its launch on October 12th. The great phenomenon seems to rise from the fact that pages can be bought for only one dollar. Many eBay users have been buying up pages in a frenzy, with some users buying 100 pages at a time.
Pages are now worth $10 each and sold for $10 each and people seem to be still interested as prices of the pages go up to another $10 when we have sold 2000 pages.
In the meanwhile, you can grab $5 pages at FiveDollarWiki, which will go for $50 once we have sold 1000 pages.

Robot Video - Face Tracking Hexapod Robot
Click Here to View in Full Screen Mode
Check out this tight ass hexapod robot from MicroMagic systems! Very cute.
The hexapod was my fourth generation robot, and took around 2 weeks to build, the hexapod locomotion engine has been developed on and off over a couple of years. The face recognition software was based on OpenCV libraries, integration of face recognition into the i.C. hexapod face tracking took around 1 week, but with several weeks of fine tuning and enhancements.
A bit of technical background:
i.C. has an on board processor I have developed called the p.Brain, this takes care of all body leg and body locomotion. The p.Brain runs on a PIC ds33F processor.
There is an off board Windows XP Mini-ITX based PC with a Pentium M 1.73Ghz processor which takes care of the face recognition and tracking. This PC is connected to the p.Brain via a serial link. Only simple commands such as X,Y and Z rotation of the head and body are sent to the p.Brain from the PC. This means that if the PC crashes (which they so often do!) The p.Brain will put i.C to sleep without damaging any of the servos.
There are 21 servos on i.C. hexapod. 3 degrees of freedom for each leg, 2 for head pan and tilt, and one which acts as a blink shutter for the main lens. i.C. blinks when a picture has been taken, pictures are stored locally with the time data and location they were taken, and also uploaded to a server for his website (still under development).
The Segway by Ferrari
Now this is the sort of Segway that I would like to have, these are actually used by the guy and girls in the Ferrari factory. Just look at those racing style tyres! There are Ferrari logos in nice and neat places, while the body is a nice red finish that could only come from the Italian super car giant.

Of this would be much better if the teams from F1 had little one lap race on these things before each grand prix, it might lighten then all up a bit.

It makes you wonder what these high performance car companies will be producing next.

The mouse gun
I know that it sounds nasty, but it isn’t really a gun for shooting mice, but it is a mouse that is a gun, oh yes you can shoot the monitor now, which sounds like a good idea when the things are not at all right!

But this is a serious if not insensitive piece of kit which could one the hand add a bit of fun into the workspace, but on the other I can see some people being offended especially when the user takes home and wants to use the laptop on the train!

It looks fairly complicated to operate with the right and left click buttons on top of each other, but it’s what you get used to I suppose.

Belt made from plane seat belts
What a good use for those seat belts that have been left over from the planes that have been sent to the airplane graveyard.

It’s quite a good way of taking a bit if the plane with you, mind you maybe you could slip one into your luggage while travelling; see how many different types that you can collect.
Priced at $28.95.

DIY keyboard
This is a great idea, designed and built in Japan, the DIY keyboard is something that appeals to a certain person. Some one who is slightly green and obviously into wood. The keyboard looks ok, but I am wondering what it sounds like when you hit the keys?

Another great thing about this keyboard is that you can place the keys in any order that you would prefer, like QWERTY or DVORAK, whatever is easier for you.
Being made from wood is ok. But this key board is not cheap you can expect to pay out anything up to $200.
