Don’t turn off the taps

Posted in Consumer, Cool, Funny, Gadgets, Household by david on the October 14th, 2007 at 10:00 am

There is one thing that is stupid about washing your hands, that is the fact that you have to turn the tap off after, which makes your hands dirty all over again.

taps

These newly designed tap do not need to be touched to control the temperature, flow and even disinfect your hands.

Now this would really impress your friends, but only after they have managed to work out how to use it first!

it doesnt seem to hard to operate… but to turn it off you still have to touch it… or at least to operate it…

I suppose that it works on the same principle that some public toilets have, take your hand close to it to turn it on and take the hand away to turn it off! Good idea to get hot/cold mix built into it.

Yeah, it would definitely help to have this. But I’ve developed a system where I always turn off tap with my elbow or wrists.
