Blueprint paperweight

by David Allen on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

This paperweight looks very realistic, except if someone picked it up and threw it out of the window. Then you would know that this paperweight is in fact made from a vinyl type material.

The shape is very clever it does actually resemble a piece of screwed up paper, which some architect has made a mistake on or their clients have changed their minds and he has had to start again.

Priced at $22.00.

Wow, never in a million years would i have thought this could happen. I read this site almost every day and something amazing happened today, and this amazing thing prompts me to do my first post. These paperweights are in fact made by me. Or at least were made by me for the past 6 months. I work for an affiliat of the company that currently owns the design for them. I was the one who actualy sat there and folded the vinyl. I am unsure of what the MoMa store is advertizing as its stock but i know there was a recent order that included the architect as well as some other designs. They come in a variety of deisgns, including Legal and Music Sheet. Before my time they were also sold in Stock Market, Tax 1040, and American Flag designs. I am still in shock that you actualy ran a story on your blog.
