Passing the time away

by David Allen on Monday, September 17th, 2007

When you just have to take you mind off of the job at hand, then this Sudoku toilet tissue might just come in very handy indeed.

The great thing about this is as well, if you make a mistake or cannot get all the answers, whose going to know, after we all know where it is going next!

Passing the time away

This is probably not a good idea to have in an office, as the staff will be running competitions and will never be able to found in the office working, but they will be in the smallest office playing this game, the Japanese just think of everything.

Mind you at $16 per roll, the business would be bankrupt after a short time.

I don't believe this!! Trust the Japanase to come with everything under the sun. Jokes apart, I frankly don't think this is a bad idea. Maybe not for office, they anyways don't let you stay in the toilet that long. But certainly for home. Everyone in my house takes the newspaper inside the loo and we'll all be solving sudoku and kakuro while answering nature's call. Now there wouldn't be any fighting for the paper and we don't have to solve it in pencil so the next one can rub and solve again.
Voila!! Say good bye to the newspaper, here comes the toilet paper sudoku...

This is a fantastic idea. I personally do not do the Sudoku but would welcome some one producing similar toilet rolls with English Cross Word puzzles on them.

The problem that would need to be solved will be the solutions to each puzzle. How would that be handled? On every succeeding perforated piece or perhaps in twin rolls, one containing the puzzles and the other only solutions? or perhaps, print on both sides? Just figuring out these possibilities itself is quite mind boggling.

Similarly "Scramble" puzzles could also be developed.

The market however is likely to be restricted to those countries where people use toilet paper and not water!

O good grief whatever next! Sudoku TP! Really useful if you are constipated though and spend an inordinate amount of time on the throne. 

I love sudoko. But not so much that i need to do it on the pot. Besides I am not a genius that I can finish an entire game in 2 minutes or less. So either the games have to be super easy, which is so not fun. Or you need to be constipated to enjoy the innovative invention. I do admit, it is innovative none the less.
  • Sitting on the throne has got a whole new meaning here.Though an uncomfortable idea it would seem interesting to a Sudoku addict. The Japanese are known for their futuristic innovations, I'm quite confused where this one goes. Since this is supposed to be funny, heres something I noticed, see d pic with the post....well don't felt-tips blot on tissue.....aaah....maybe this one's a fake then...

I pray this one passed moderation....

Hey the idea of sitting with sudo ku in office will not help.It will indeed lead to a lot of mishaps.Probably creating a big queue in front of the loo everybody knocking the door to finish with their nature's job.

Good idea, but the sudukos should be easy enough to solve in that small time. For that the puzzles should be extremely easy. Anyway this idea should be modified for using since as others have mentioned in their comments one may not need so much time in the loo. But may be the toilet paper may contain some food for thought or present time issues or some basic puzzles which can be solved in that time.

Surely the Japanese come up with of all sorts of innovative products but personally i wouldn't spend $16 on a roll of toilet paper. I can make do with newspapers and magazines. Although, I'd be a happy camper if we had those toilet papers in office. On the business side of things, it may as well decrease the productivity because the employees wouldn't be out of the washroom soon enough.

Ugh! Who will spent one's leisure time in such an unhealthy, may be smelly, place! Ugh! Ugh! The figure shows a mounted toilet paper roll in a toilet. I will never think of playing this game if it is only available on a toilet paper . And the price too! The Japanese are brainy people. Can't they think of more pleasant ideas? Spent the leisure time in an airy open place. And not in a toilet!
