Just what is the right temperature for wine
Well the answer is “I suppose that it depends on the wine” which unless you are an expert can be a bit hit and miss.
However this neat little device by Carl Mertens of Germany takes all of the guess work out of the equation, and by bring out a properly prepared bottle of wine is just going to impress your family or friends.
The thermometer clips around the bottle for a couple of minutes and the actually temperature is displayed on the heat sensitive band, while above the gauge are bands to where your wine selection should be.
