The cassette tape is back
But before you go out and get the old cassette player out this is just a great idea for some a more modern way of storing files.
Inside the cassette tape is a great little USB flash drive, which can be used with any laptop or PC. There was a time when the shelves were full of these tapes and boxes. That of course was before the introduction of the CD.
Now they had to find a use for all of the empty cassette boxes and this is it. The tape itself and the box has the usual blank indexes, so they can be filled in by hand with what you have stored on it yourself.

its too big for a usb flash drive. they could have designed a mini cassette usb flash drive.

Nah, if they changed the size, it wouldnt have the same effect. Its all about nostalgia with this. I’d totally buy it if i saw it at walmart or something, haha…. that would make an awesome gift for someone who you used to make mix tapes for 15 years ago

but… wont you loose the case to the mix drive like you would with the tapes???

Maybe… but the novelty of the gift is the important part anyways. After that, its just a flash drive… usefull, but not amazing.

ya.. and if you go through itunes than you will probably give them a song with drm in it… and that would just defeat the purpose…
