Penguin makes the perfect cup of tea
How to make the perfect cup of tea, using a tea is a bit of an art, even us English guys have trouble with it. So when Signals brought out the Penguin Tea boy it just has to be a one of the great gadgets.

The hot water is placed in the cup, while the tea bag is placed on the penguin’s beak, which is then lowered into the hot water, down the side of the penguin is a timer, this can be set for the desired amount of minutes that are required.
Once that timer is finished the tea bag is raised and the tea itself is ready to drink, not too weak or too strong.

All Black Hublot Watch
This is a great looking watch, which could have come off of the arm of “Batman” because it is all black it has to be one of the coolest watches around.

The design is really smart, using the light to expose all of the edges around the face of the watch. The material used in this watch are ceramic which is used in the case and bezel which is used in many high performance applications, such as some of the parts that are used in F1 and Sports cars.
The movement is made up of 252 components and the watch case itself needs 160 movements to produce, this is truly a piece of engineering design.

TV in a case
When you see those trailers and RV’s around the campsites that have an array of Ariel’s and dishes rising out of the roof, most people would think how great that would be, imagine driving around the country, stopping at a park or stopover point and being able to watch all of the programming that would if your were at home, sounds great to me!
The only problem is the dishes and Ariel’s that would need to put up and lined up to the signals, this would actually spoil the day or night!
But naturally there is a solution and it comes in the form of a suitcase.

The everlasting fortune cookie
There has been the Mystic 8 Ball, remember that one the large pool ball that told you your fortune when it was turned over.

Now there is the Big Fortune Cookie, which works on a similar principle as the Mystic 8 Ball, but looks better and comes in a nice presentation box and maybe it will show you the way forward and what decisions you should be making.

Show what is in your bag
This bag could get you into a bit of trouble if walked into an airport with it, as it is an X-ray type print, very similar to the image that you would get on an X-ray machine at the airport luggage check in.

There are three designs which show off a variety of different objects, from cell phones, keys, lipstick, pills, drink, guns and so on.
However the comic side of this is really in your face to the authorities and anyone who spends their time worrying about what people are carrying around in their bags.

Record all of your car accidents

It is very handy to keep records, but to record an accident as it happens is something completely different. This is from Japan and although at first you think why would you want to do that, it is only when you have an accident do you really need something like this.

You think that you are prepared for any occurrence, but when it actually happens all those plans are forgotten and then so are all the details etc, this means that you could possibly lose any claim four damages, which could cost you thousands of dollars.
Priced at around $412, which is not bad at all.

Data center offline for several hours
As many people may already have found out, many Web 2.0 services were offline for a few hours yesterday, was this a secret government plan, terrorist or a natural disaster, no it was none of those, in fact it was a worker at the data center at 365, Main, in San Francisco, which is situated on the edge of the cities finance district.

The data center houses many of the webs most popular websites, which include Technorati, Yelp, Adbrite, Typepad and so on. The list is far too long to show.
So what happened there, well it appears that a worker had one to many and decided to bring down a few of the worlds most popular websites in the process.
