It is very hard to keep tabs on the kids for every minute of the day; it is so easy for them to gain access to some sites that are not really suitable for children of any age. This where KidSafe comes in very handy, its like a flash drive but with security in mind.

In order to gain access to the computer the key will have to be placed into the usb port. Each key is unique and is impossible to duplicate any key. This is a great way to make sure that your kids are safe from all of the traps and dangers that lurk around the Internet.

I bought one from www.thinkgeek.com - It works real good, my son used to play games for 5 hours straight when he should have been in bed asleep. Now I take the key at night and he can't use the computer without my permission. Definitely a good buy.

Warning! I bought one from thinkgeek too but my computer that i got in March came with Vitsa, this doesnt work with vista only old versions of windows.
  • Hi Mike,
sorry to here you have Vista. We are waiting for service pack 2 to come out before we release the Vista version of kidsafe parental control. Please email us with your details and I will give you a free upgrade when it is ready. The problem is that microsoft make many changes to their new operating systems and as our software and the secure usb key work on a pretty low level we have to wait until they fix all the bugs and stabilize the underlying architecture before we release it. This usually happens at service pack 2 and is the reason why you won't find Vista in any organizations yet.

    best regards,
