Posted in Business, Consumer, Cool, Web, cell phones by david on the June 23rd, 2007 at 7:00 am

Granted there are quite a few sites that offer the ability to send free SMS messages, they normally have some text advertising products on them too, but you can never get a response, so sending a message is comparatively easy, but getting a reply to your message is not, that was until now, TEXTAWAY have a different way of doing it and it looks good.

free sms

What happens is you use the Textaway site to send a free SMS to one of your friends phone, who can reply to it, something that we have not been able to do before with the free SMS services. The reply will go into the email box, which you can pick up via your cell phone.

There is no obligation to register either, so you can just simply go the Textaway site send a free message and that is it, done.

The watch that could be a dice

Posted in Consumer, Cool, Gadgets by david on the June 23rd, 2007 at 6:00 am

Now this one is hard to understand the watch face could be mistaken for a dice or even a dominoes piece that has somehow found its way into the middle of the watch under the face and is looking though at you.

black dice

What it is though the watch is made up with LEDs somehow you are supposed to be able to tell what the time is by just looking at it as normal, I suppose that it must come with practice.

The colors are nice though, gold, black and silver, and is water resistant to around fifty meters. And the cost of this watch is going to be $250.

Magnetic Clock with Weekly Calendar

Posted in Business, Consumer, Cool, Gadgets by david on the June 22nd, 2007 at 10:00 am

The clock that has space for your special dates, as the clock face is made up like a board that can wiped clean, like the white board type of thing. The background is segmented into seven sections, and marked up with the seven days of the week.

clock

This is a good idea, as you can see immediately what your plans are for the day without having to look in a dairy or a calendar, especially if you are in a hurry or something. The board is magnetic and comes with its own magnetic marker pen for convenience.

The clock costs around $50.

This watch that has a weapon installed just in case of an emergency on the train or in the office. You never know who is going to get hostile these days!

watch

Makers Back Yard Artillery have created this watch that has a mini catapult that rests across the face of the watch, it can catapult a small projectile like a ball from a BB gun up to eight feet away, which puts quite a few people well in range when you are sitting on a train!

watch

The watch is quite reasonable in price too, about $50.
