What happens to old hard drives?

by David Allen on Thursday, June 7th, 2007

Well clearly they get turned into clocks like this one from Etsy.

As everyone should know computers and other technology based products do generate a huge amount of waste, and a lot of it ends up in landfills which is not a very good place for it to be.

By recycling a lot of items such as this hard drive make use of at least some of the parts and save them from just being dumped.

The clock itself has a very good style to it, ideal as a gift for someone who works in the tech world or is just interested in tech stuff.

The clock will cost around $30.
