Mini portable photo album

by David Allen on Monday, June 4th, 2007

From the side view this actually looks like a regular photo album, you can even see the pages inside and everything, but once opened the screen is posed and the secret is out.

The Soban is made by a Korean company called Narae, the album as you can see from the images fits into the palm of your hand, the company does state that this album can be used a key chain, although it is small enough, it may not be that small.

What you get inside is a massive 128 MB of on board memory, this is pretty good for the size of the device and will store up to 7000 images, or so they say! Naturally it is connected to the computer via the USB port, but unfortunately the device cannot play back video.

There is no mention of price and availability just yet.

  • Sweet enough... But it seems to take up as much room as a standard digital camera, and has about the same amount of screen size. So where's the advantage?

Just keep a separate folder for the things you want to show off. Most cameras have way more space too.

I bet the advantage is in the cost of it. Probably much cheaper than a digital camera. (Under 80 bucks?)
