Synchronization between the iPod 2G nano and the computer through the USB port, life is made so much easier by this device as the USB connector end is at an 90 degree angle meaning that while the iPod is either charging or if there are tracks being transferred the iPod will be standing upright, much better than it being laid down on the table or desk.

    Wouldnt work for those usb ports that are on the front of my case, they are angled.
