Have a drink on your cell phone

Posted in Consumer, Funny by david on the May 28th, 2007 at 11:00 am

If you like a little tipple every now and then, you maybe interested in hearing about the cell phone flask, it actually looks like a cell phone, so you can carry it and nobody would know that you had a little supply, for medicinal purposes only.

flask

The flask comes with a leather attachment that the flask can go into, and then it can be placed on your belt, which even more tries to prove that you have phone rather than a flask, which is very handy because then you can walk around with your cell phone that is in the shape of a bottle! Then nobody would know!

Add PUR Flavor to your water

Posted in Chemistry, Consumer by david on the May 28th, 2007 at 10:00 am

If you are unable to drink vast amounts of water in its natural form and would much rather prefer to have the natural flavor of raspberry, peach, or strawberry, then this product is got to be for you.

pur

The flavor comes in the form f cartridges, which are connected, to the PUR device, which only very lightly flavors the water, however upon checking the ingredients, there are no apparent ingredients! Which begs the question. What the hell is it in there?

Clearly we would all like to get our hands on food stuffs that are completely safe to eat, fat free, and totally good for you, but it down to what you want to spend and how much time you have for preparation ect.

Each cartridge is supposed to last for around 75 glasses of water, and the cost is $10 for two cartridges.

A printer on the wall.

Posted in USB, Wireless by david on the May 27th, 2007 at 5:00 pm

This is a pretty neat idea, the printer that is fixed to the wall, it is then out of the way and has an ingenious way of holding the paper once it has finished printing, and it looks something like a picture in a frame.

printer

There is not relay much data on the how the printer is powered or what type of ink it uses etc, so that is not much good, but it has been designed by Ransmeier and Floyd, they have defiantly come up with a fantastic idea, whether it is a practical solution only time will tell, I hope so, because it be the start of seeing other wall mounted equipment, which is ideal for small spaces.

Now I don’t know about you but I think that this looks more like something that you clean the drains our with.

Grundig 360 degree surround sound

But please rest assured that this is a a regular speaker, which can give you a complete 360 degree surround sound effect, and to make it even better, the reason why it looks the way it does, it because it is meant for outside.

All you need to do is plug in the mp3 or other music source directly into the speaker and that is it, you ready to rock an roll, with 20 watts of amplification and being able to hear the sound wherever you are sitting.

Being made out of plastic there is no worries about corrosion as it is water resistant.

The speaker will cost you around $150.

Special Tamagotchi Anniversary MP3.

Posted in Games, mp3 by david on the May 27th, 2007 at 3:00 pm

Remember those nice little Tamagotchi toys, the ones that were supposed to be interactive etc, well guess what? They are back, but before you start panicking, fortunately they have only come back as an MP3 player, specially issued to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the tamagotchi interactive toy.

tamagotchi

But never to be thought of as copying, they have decided that in order to download your favorite tunes onto the MP3 all you need to do, is connect to a CD player or other audio source, and import it directly into the device.

You are able to store around 120 minutes of music, so it is pretty good, there are nineteen different types of characters and there are several games to play games on the LCD display.

Birds Micro Mixer DJ-4

Posted in Audio, mp3 by david on the May 27th, 2007 at 3:00 pm

Fancy doing a bit of mixing on using your iPod? Well now you can, with the bird Electron Micro Mixer DJ-4 Sports, I am not quite sure where the sports part comes in here, but that is the name.

ipod mixer

What you have here is a box with a couple of what can only be described as recycled guitar knobs, and an input and output for your iPod, once you have all of that you are ready to go.

There may be the possibility of the iPod not being the only source of music for this device, so you be able to use any mp3 device, which will open the market up to more consumers. Price is around $80.

Gameport takes gaming over the edge

Posted in Games, Online Games, USB by david on the May 27th, 2007 at 1:00 pm

The game port is not just another gaming consol, but something that moves the tradional ideas from basic to the extreme.

gameport

The game port can be connected to the computer via the USB port, and it will even transfer game ROM’s via the the SD slot.

As a little bonus, for all those who love to watch the TV, there is an A/V output built in. Sizewise it measures 3.5” x 5” x 1”, however once the system goes into full production it is expected to be smaller.
