UMPC Everun

It’ werkelijk koel s.
Anyways, deze UMPCs is freakin’ great and I need to get one next time I goto Korea. They have blackmarket where you can buy stuff on the cheap. (can’t tell you where, otherwise the prices would go up!) Well, if you email me, I will tell you though. max at zedomax dot com.
Weighing only 460g, the EVERUN adopted 4.8-inch WVGA(800×480) LCD featuring auto-rotation and auto-brightness control function. It offers up to seven hours (12 hours with a large battery) of battery life thanks to its power saving AMD Geode processor and high capacity lithium-ion battery. The new UMPC supports built-in 802.11b/g WLAN, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity and optional HSDPA/Wibro modem. Qwerty keypad and optical touch mouse are also contained.
Users can choose storage(HDD or SSD) and CPU(LX900 or LX800) and it is available in late June for around 650,000(KRW).
P.S. WOW, check out the Wibro MODEM! Sweet! I just wish I tried Wibro…too bad it’s not here in SF or anywhere near the US yet… On the side note, US HSDPA sucks in most places including San Francisco. Well, I’ve heard that it’s really fast in “other” metro areas but what about me and everyone in the Bay Area?!?

Gorilla Pod - Your ultimate Camera Tripod

Remember David posted about this cool tripod?
We are still spitting out some stuff from the Maker Faire. Here’s a cool tripod for your camera called, gorillapod. It can adhere to any tree, pole, and other hard to reach surfaces. Awesome. Will they send us a sample?
The Joby Gorillapod firmly secures your camera to just about anything — anywhere and everywhere! Unlike traditional tripods, the Gorillapod has flexible, gripping legs which can wrap around almost any surface. It is now available in three sizes!
How to make HOT ICE!

Wow, check out how to make HOT ICE! This is awesome if you have some sodium acetate laying around.
A heat pack like the one you are describing contains sodium acetate and water. It turns out that sodium acetate is very good at supercooling. It “freezes” at 130 degrees F (54 degrees C), but it is happy to exist as a liquid at a much lower temperature and is extremely stable. Clicking the disk, however, has the ability to force a few molecules to flip to the solid state, and the rest of the liquid then rushes to solidify as well. The temperature of the solidifying liquid jumps up to 130 degrees F in the process.
Hey we are part of Aving Global News Network!

Hey, we are now part of Aving.net Global News Network! Cool! We will have some more interesting stuff to post now.
We are back on a faster server and ready to go fast again! :)
Hey, we are back on a super-fast server from Cari.net. We had to move to a quad CPU dedicated server due to traffic and slow load times. Aplus.net didn’t have any faster CPU than dual-core so we had to move. Anyways, I just got my cool green dragon laser from Dragon Lasers last week. I will shoot a video soon to show it off. (And yeah, we are giving them some free ads for the free sample!) Thanks Frank for the $400 green laser!
I’ve been very busy pointing it at the sky and other things. It’s really cool, the green laser beam can be seen at night!
On the side note, this is the 4th time we’ve moved our servers. Next time, we will probably have to start making some server farms which would be kinda hairy…
We are moving to a new server!
We are moving to a faster, newer server so we might be down for couple hours during the next 24 hours. Please be patient while we upgrade our site to a better, faster server!
Best regards,
Max, David, Garrett, Jackie, and Kenji

The gear clock
This is a fantastic looking clock which, is unusal because clocks are normally fairly boring things, but this one at first glance does not immediately strike you as being a time piece but once you have realized that it is a clock, you then have to try and work out how to tell the time, it is this what makes it so interesting.

This clock uses gears to work; they gradually take the clocks movement around the inside of the rim, the face or rim with the numbers on being the largest cog in the movement.
The clock at the moment is sold out, but the stocks will soon be replenished and the cost will be around $150.
