The Sony Reader

Another reader for your ebooks, this time from Sony, it looks better than the average reader, and you are able to cover the screen, as the device is built like a conventional book, which opens along the side.

Using a rechargeable lithium ion battery, which takes around four hours to charge up and then it is supposed to last for around 7500 page turns, but if you use a in conjunction with the charger it will last for six hours, which I suspect is quite a bit of reading material.

In line with some of the other readers available, the Sony will cost you around $350.

Sweet, but the price is a tad bit too high?

Too high? Idunno. I think the new iPod touch is like $399, so one could argue that this is just another cool gadget. I mean, yeah, it's just for reading... I have one of these and people are always like, "What do you mean it doesn't play video?"

Still, for a bookworm like me who loves gadgets, it's a very cool investment. I must have borderline ADD or something because (for me) there's nothing better than being able to carry around like 80 books.
