Whatever you think of clocks, most people need to them from time to time as they are essential to out everyday lives, so why not have one that is really cool like the gear clock from Chinavision.

This is going to get a few people in a lot of trouble, imagine sending this through the mail or taking home by plane or any other public transport, this would be bad news fro someone.

There is a bit joke value in there somewhere, but I cannot imagine why anyone would even want to take the risk of being caught with something like, especially in this day and age. Telling the time is a skill that needs to be mastered, but could be better when you have some people round and they ask what the time is. This arty type clock will confuse and humiliate them into submission.

Wow, Japan has some awesome technologies but this one is really really really cool…

John from The Hacker’s Bench has put together a selection of crazy clocks, this water clock that is located in Kanazawa Station is my favorite. It uses jets of water to either display the time or messages. If you know where we can find some more details of the build I would love to hear from you. Well clearly they get turned into clocks like this one from Etsy.

As everyone should know computers and other technology based products do generate a huge amount of waste, and a lot of it ends up in landfills which is not a very good place for it to be.

By recycling a lot of items such as this hard drive make use of at least some of the parts and save them from just being dumped.

The clock itself has a very good style to it, ideal as a gift for someone who works in the tech world or is just interested in tech stuff.
