youtube sued

Just in,

Viacom, the company behind MTV, sues Youtube (Google) for copyright enfringement and making money off their stuff.
This sucks since lots of videos have been taken off…(don’t they realize they also do get some free advertising through Youtube for people who don’t watch TV? )

Well, at least both companies have enough money to make this last a long time…

Viacom Inc., the company responsible for such classics a Flavor of Love and I’m From Rolling Stone, is suing Google Inc. for copyright infringement.

The suit accuses Google company YouTube of engaging in rampant profiteering off of video clips owned by Viacom and seeks $1 billion dollars in damages.
