Physics

Well my knowledge in the field of physics is limited so I won’t even try to give my explanation.  Please feel free to leave comments if you have any theories.

Yes, googling has been fun but seems like it’s getting too crowded with too much information.

Here’s a custom search engine from google where you can be selective of the sites you want to search.

Samsung V9900 Out-Starves Samsung Trace

Posted in Consumer, Cool, cell phones by max on the October 24th, 2006 at 8:59 am

Cool new samsung phone…

Looks like the Samsung phones are having an anorexia contest. On one side we have the Samsung Trace measuring in at a thin 0.3 inches. In Korea they have the V9900, which had one less celery stick for dinner and managed to maintain a 0.27-inch waist line. It’s also got a better 2-megapixel camera (the Trace has 1MP) and packs a nice 1.9-inch screen. And while the Trace plays nice with T-Mobile’s EDGE network, the V9900 is all about the EV-DO. We’ll take the thinner model as long as it doesn’t feel too flimsy. Click through for some extra pics.

Spamatek - Best FREE Spam Plug-in for MS Outlook 2003

Posted in Consumer, Cool, Web by max on the October 24th, 2006 at 8:23 am

Here’s the best anti-spam plug-in I found for MS Office 2003. A lot of spam software does work good, except you have to pay after 30 days of using it. This one is completely free and adds these little buttons that you can press to mark spam and non-spam emails. Now I spend more time reading my emails instead of getting mad at the spamming companies who have nothing better to do than spam.

After trying like 30 different spam plugins for MS Outlook, this is the best one I’ve found…

Note: Only thing I found was that when you first set it up, make sure to only train the spam software with 100 to 300 emails, otherwise it will quit on you. Oh yeah, you might have to reboot to get it working. But once working, working good.
Get it here or click on the picture

Chiang Mai University involved in tiny nanobot’s human voyage

Posted in Cool, Medical, Motor, Robots by max on the October 23rd, 2006 at 12:52 pm

(you can’t see the nanobot? of course not! it’s too small!)

Just in from Chiang Mai, Thailand, the local university develops a nanobot that is small enough for a human body…

Wow, cool nanobot that can travel through human blood vessels!
This is something out of comics coming to real life…

A Chiang Mai University team has developed a motor so small it will power a microscopic robot on an expedition through human blood vessels.
