Cool robots~

What do a 47 year old wind-turbine designer, a 16 year old high school student, a 30-something hobbyist and ex-R/C car fanatic, and the world’s most well known character-type robot creator have in common?

They all live, eat, breath, and sleep humanoid robots. For them, it’s an uncontrollable passion. Plain and simple, they love robots. And, luckily for all the rest of us robot fans around the world, Kyosho, with support from Kondo brought together this unusual team of robot creators to give birth to the growing line of MANOI Athlete Humanoid Robots - the AT01 and the PF01.

find your lost golf ball using this golf radar, i wouldn’t use one myself, i really think it takes the whole “looking for ball” part of the game out of the game…

but cool technology for golf…

What kids do these days - Robot War

Posted in Cool, DoItYourself!, Robots, Video by max on the September 24th, 2006 at 10:53 am

Here’s a review of what kinds of robots are coming from kids.

I build robots that battle against other bots. One of my first bots was TurboGnome. It faired well in its matches, but my last competitor … all » defeated TurboGnome pretty badly. I wondered: How could I build and design a robot that had a more effective weapon?
